According to the agency, on June 5 and the night of June 6, units of the Defense Forces struck a number of important Russian military and logistics facilities.
In the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation, the “Kronstadt” basing point (St. Petersburg) was hit. Explosions were recorded at the facility, and the extent of the damage is being clarified.
“Kronstadt” is the main hub for basing, repair, and support of the Baltic Fleet ships in the eastern part of the Baltic Sea, and it also covers the maritime approaches to St. Petersburg.
The “Petergofskaya” oil depot (Lomonosov, Leningrad region) was also hit. Hits, an explosion, and a fire were recorded at the facility.
In addition, strikes were carried out on the “Neste” oil terminal in Lomonosov. A fire was recorded in the vicinity of the terminal, and the results of the strike are being clarified. The terminal is a key distribution hub for petroleum products (gasoline, diesel) in the northwestern region of Russia. Its single storage capacity is 40,000 cubic meters of light petroleum products.
An arsenal of the missile armament storage complex, ammunition, and military property of the 1060th Logistics Support Center (urban-type settlement Bolshaya Izhora, Leningrad region) was hit. Explosions, secondary detonation, and a fire were recorded on the territory of the facility.
Among other things, the “Ust-Labinsk” oil depot (Krasnodar Krai) was hit. A fire was recorded at the facility. The results of the strike and the damage caused are being clarified.
The “Ust-Labinsk” oil depot is an important rear hub for storing and distributing fuel and lubricants. Through the railway infrastructure of the Krasnodar Krai, it is directly involved in supplying fuel to Russian troop groupings in the southern and eastern directions.
Ukrainian soldiers also targeted a command and observation post of a unit in the vicinity of Malinovka (Belgorod region, Russia) and a logistics warehouse in the vicinity of Karaichnoye, Luhansk region.
Russian UAV control points were hit in the areas of Voskresenka and Odra’dne, Donetsk region, as well as Novofedorivka and Zaliznychne, Zaporizhzhia region.
Strikes were carried out against areas of concentration of Russian personnel near Pokrovsk and Rodynske, Donetsk region, Petropavlivka, Kharkiv region, as well as Tyotkine and Anatolivka, Kursk region, Russia.
Ukrinform reported earlier that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian drones had traveled about 1000 kilometers overnight to Russian Navy arsenals and the base in Kronstadt.
