Ukraine’s Security Service has reported on the third week of a 40-day operation to compel the Russian Federation to peace. In addition to the strike on the “Engels-2” military airfield and the destruction of a Tu-95MS bomber, Ukrainian drones, both aerial and naval, reached a series of other targets. On July 20, the SBU summarized the results of the previous week’s strikes against the enemy, which were intended to force the Russian Federation into peace negotiations over 40 days. During the third week of aerial and naval attacks, targets in the southern Russian regions, in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, and on the eastern front line of Ukraine were systematically attacked. Tankers carrying sanctioned oil and gasoline, as well as strategic and frontline aircraft, were targeted. Furthermore, hits were achieved on radar stations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and on oil terminals in the Azov and Black Seas. Concurrently, a series of strikes were carried out on Russian Armed Forces depots on the front line and in the rear, the agency reported.

The SBU outlined three main directions for its strikes against the Russian Federation to compel peace.
The first direction involves neutralizing Russia’s strategic aviation. The target was the “Engels-2” airfield, located 800 km away, and the destruction of a Tu-95MS.
The second involves strikes on Russia’s shadow fleet. Targets included the tanker Louise 1 (which transported 3 million tons of oil), Banda (which called at Novorossiysk, Ust-Luga, and Kerch), and Avero (which sailed to China and India). The SBU indicated that the strike on Louise 1 was carried out by the naval drone “Mamai.” They also clarified that all the hit tankers belong to the Suezmax class, capable of carrying large volumes of petroleum products.
The third involves attacks on military infrastructure and equipment. Targets included two “Mangust” class cutters in the Black Sea, the “Bagerove” airbase in Crimea, and three radar stations that interfered with drone attacks of various types. Additionally, an unspecified number of strikes were conducted against Russian Armed Forces depots, locations of personnel and equipment, and so on.
The fourth direction is the destruction of fuel and energy infrastructure. Targets included the Vyazniki oil depot in the Stavropol Krai, 600 km from Ukraine, the oil product transshipment terminal in the port of Kavkaz, and a railway with tank cars in the port of Kavkaz.
The fifth direction involves strikes on logistics. Targets were the automotive ferries “Yeysk” and “Maria” in Kerch, and the automotive ferries “Lavrentiy” and “Panagia” in the port of Kavkaz.
The agency published an infographic summarizing the third week of the 40-day special operation. It is evident that the predominant geography of the strikes is the front line and the immediate rear of the occupying army along the entire front, the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, and the southern regions of the Russian Federation. It was also revealed that frontline military airfields, as well as airfields for strategic aviation, are within the reach of SBU drones, with a strike radius of 600 and 800 km. Furthermore, the ground and sea attacks demonstrate that the “Alpha” Center operates in two domains simultaneously, possessing both aerial and naval UAVs at its disposal.
