Despite the “dry” score, the Ukrainian team engaged the opponent in serious combat and maintained suspense until the final rallies in all sets.

It should be noted that the group stage for the Ukrainians will consist of three tournament weeks in different countries. In each week, our team will play 4 matches. The first matches for the players under Raul Lozano will take place in Linyi, China. Among Ukraine’s opponents, besides Japan, are the national teams of China, Cuba, and Poland.

The second game week will be held from June 24 to 28 in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. There, Ukraine will face Brazil, Italy, Canada, and Bulgaria.

The “blue-yellows” will conclude the group stage from July 15 to 19 in Belgrade (Serbia). There, the Ukrainian team will compete against the teams of Iran, Serbia, Turkey, and Germany.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian women’s volleyball team began their debut Nations League with a victory over Germany and subsequent losses to the USA, Japan, and France.
