In turn, on July 20th, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is holding a series of meetings with military personnel of various ranks. Specifically, he has already spoken with:

  • Mykhailo Drapatyi, Deputy Chief of the General Staff,

  • Volodymyr Horbatiuk, Head of the JFO Armed Forces,

  • Andriy Biletskyi, Commander of the 3rd Army Corps,

  • Ihor Obolenskiy, Commander of the “Khartia” Corps.

We remind you that earlier on July 20th, the General Staff refuted rumors in the media and social networks about the probable resignation of Syrskyi. The department’s statement emphasized that he and Hnatov continue to perform their duties, and dismissals from these positions occur exclusively by decree of the President of Ukraine. Previously, information regarding the current Commander-in-Chief’s resignation was spread through anonymous Telegram channels without official sources.
