Zelenskyy: Ukraine adjusts long-range operations based on front-line situation 06/29/2026 22:42 Ukrinform President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is continuously adjusting its long-range and medium-range operations in accordance with the actual situation on the front lines, in order to deprive the aggressor state of the ability to wage war without consequences for itself.
As Ukrinform reports, the head of state announced this during a video address on Telegram.
“We are discussing everything in detail with military commanders, with the Security Service of Ukraine, with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, and with our intelligence services; we are constantly discussing, promptly reacting to the real situation – we are adjusting our long-range operations, our medium-range activities,” he said.
Zelenskyy added: “We are ensuring that Ukraine achieves the necessary results so that the aggressor state cannot keep the war ‘somewhere else.’ Everyone who seeks to destroy the lives of another nation suffers themselves. We protect life.”
As Ukrinform reported, negotiations regarding licenses for Ukraine to produce long-range weapons, including SCALP missiles, are ongoing, but it is too early to talk about specific results.
