З початку поточного дня противник 28 разів undertook attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces.
Main points:
- The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 28 enemy assault attempts since the beginning of the day across various front sectors.
- Settlements in the Sumy region and other areas suffered from the occupiers’ artillery shelling.
Current situation at the front on June 24
Operational information as of 16:00 on 24.06.2026 regarding the Russian invasion is provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the North-Sloboda and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 18 shellings of settlements and our troops’ positions.

In the South-Sloboda direction, the invaders attempted twice to breach defenses in the vicinity of the settlements of Veterinarne and Synelnykove. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Kup’yansk direction, the enemy attacked the Defense Forces’ positions in the direction of Novoosynove once today.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled seven attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Shyikivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Ozirne. Two combat engagements are still in progress.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully thwarted three attempts by the invaders to move forward near Zakhidne, Riznykivka, and towards Rai-Olexandrivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, our defenders repelled six attacks near the settlements of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, and in the direction of Kostiantynivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted five times to dislodge our warriors from their occupied positions. Twenty-two attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Sukhetske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, and Filya.

In the Huliaypole direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks towards the settlements of Hirke and Charivne. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
